We tried it, decided to skip it, and ate elsewhere. There were many food choices but none were very tasty. The hallway and stairwell REEKED of an overpowering sweet perfume scent, as if they were trying to cover up a more unpleasant scent. It was quiet and I didn't notice any road noise. It was ok for one night, and suited my needs. It felt forced, and like it would have been better if they'd kept it "retro" and functional. It's a typical older motel it's obvious that attempts have been made to renovate and modernize the rooms but I believe it's past that point. The pool was closed due to it being off-season but it does look like a nice pool area. Stayed here one night because I was in Knoxville for an event and the prices for hotels downtown were outrageous.
